C.A.R.E. Alternatives Center, Inc. is owned and operated by Barbara Schroeder. She has been in business for over 14 years as an alternative practitioner.

Barbara got into this business years ago after a car accident left her with migraine-type headaches every day for 3 1/2 years. She tried the typical medical route to no avail and was left to seek out other answers.

Eventually she was introduced to a therapist who specialized in head and neck injuries. This individual found that Barbara’s muscles had healed too short thus putting pressure on her nervous system. After going through painful treatment, which resulted in relief of the headaches. Barbara wanted to help others and began her quest into the alternative treatment world.

She started out as a deep tissue specialist and has, over the years, expanded her practice and expertise. She now does a variety of techniques and looks at the client as a “whole person” not just a symptom, believing that the symptom started long before you even knew it was there.
